• Pre-store Preparation - Need an automobile storage solution for your car? Hartford Despatch offers the specialty service of storing your car, boat or other vehicle for both short- and long-term needs. Many times, the need to store your automobile arises - whether it is because you do not have a garage and need safekeeping for your car during the winter or you need to store your boat until it's time to put it back in your slip. Not only will we provide you with automobile storage services, but we care for your vehicle while in our warehouse as well.
• Monthly Start Services - Along with our clients' personal property, we are often asked to store cars for longer periods of time. In order to assure that these cars are in running order when they are returned to our clients, members of our warehouse staff start and run them at least once a month. This monthly start includes running the air conditioning to avoid the drying and cracking of these expensive internal organs.
• Long-term Storage - If we store your car for longer periods (over 6 months) of time, we will go even further to care for your vehicle. We will disconnect the batteries and put your car on blocks to avoid any bald spots on your tires.
• Post Store - Road ready service. On demand, our on-site garage will service the car prior to its return. Our services include: wash, wax, interior prep, a complete oil change, tune up when needed, electrical system overview and other preventive maintenance processes to ensure your car is ready to go when you arrive. Or, if you prefer, we will deliver it to you.
